Each day can bring different tasks and responsibilities. An analyst’s main focus is fulfilling requests from clients. After client requests are completed, time might be filled with completing credit assessments for credit rating reviews on an assigned debtor portfolio. Some days you may mentor a junior analyst or assist management with a special project. Most analysts have side responsibilities to help with the continuity of the business. That might include scanning for recent bankruptcies, writing credit best practices, or contributing to our credit outlooks and newsletter.
The day-to-day is mostly filled with performing credit assessments, writing credit narratives for our opinions, and approving credit limits. In a typical week, you may be assigned 8 to 10 requests to review for a client. This process might include speaking with credit managers, CFOs, or Controllers to secure necessary supporting information to identify and assign a rating for credit quality.
An Account Manager typically fills their day with tasks related to making our customers successful. That means engaging clients so they get the most from their ProfitGuard subscription to minimize customer credit risk. This begins with a new client hand-off from the sales team. Onboarding new clients involves introduction calls, education and training, and finding ways to add value to ensure clients use the service. When not onboarding new clients, the Account Manager’s weeks may be filled with quarterly business reviews for current clients which involves identifying risks for non-renewal and opportunities for expanding relationships. Other activities might include helping senior leaders with general account management including renewals, generating training material, and team meetings to discuss overall customer health.

Added Perks:
Each year we participate in the Adopt a Family program in which we partner with a local elementary school to donate supplies to a family or two during the holiday season. From the family’s wish list, our organization and its generous employees purchase items that bring both help and hope to those underprivileged and in need. In the past, we have donated toys, clothing, kitchen supplies, grocery & gas gift cards, and much more.
We have also partnered with the same elementary school to help provide our little friends and their staff members with school supplies. For the 2023-24 school year a highlight of what our company and team members collectively furnished includes: 80 boxes of colored pencils, crayons, and markers, almost 200 glue sticks and bottles of Elmers School Glue, hundreds of pens and Sharpies, 500+ sharpened pencils, and a lot of love!
